“My one regret in life is that I am not someone else.” Woody Allen
“If it turns out that there is a God, I don't think that he's evil. But the worst that you can say about him is that basically he's an underachiever.” Woody Allen

“What if nothing exists and we're all in somebody's dream?”- Woody Allen
“I'd never join a club that would allow a person like me to become a member.” - Groucho Marx
“I've often said, the only thing standing between me and greatness is me” - Woody Allen

“To you I'm an atheist; to God, I'm the Loyal Opposition.”- Woody Allen
“To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But then, one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be happy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.”- Woody Allen

"We are lucky to be alive and therefore we should value life. Life is precious. We're never going to get another one. This is it. Don't waste it. Open your eyes. Open your ears.Treasure the experiences that you have and don't waste your time fussing... Try to do as much good as you can now to others. "We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. Some things I believe:
-With the exception of very few things, nothing in life is black and white. And if you think the world is black and white - you aren't thinking.
- It is more important to be interested than interesting.
- Listen more. Talk less (really working on this one)
- Listen and learn from the opposition.
Most of us surroung ourselves with like minded people. The result being that we are not encouraged to question our views.
Learning about different cultures, customs, religions, political views is critical to grow.
Here's the catch...
Once you allow yourself to see through other's eyes you quickly descend down the rabbit hole.
Life is never again black and white.
Opening that door is frightening...makes you question and assess all of your beliefs. The process is scary and turns your life upside down.
However, without expanding your mind, you cease to grow.
And then what?
- Humility is noble trait.
- After 30 or so you can no longer blame your parents. It's all on you.
